Happy PFF

A postcard purchased on the same trip in 1950 where we picked up the Niagra Falls cards - this one is a very large card and shows the bridge through the Thousand Islands between the United States and Canada. It, too, is linen. (That's the postcard, not the bridge.)

The back of the card has plenty of room to write a message back home! Thanks to Beth, http://thebestheartsarecrunchy.blogspot.com/ for hosting. (Click to enlarge)

  1. What a bridge! In fact there are even three bridges following each other. The postcard is almost an abstract painting. I like it.

  3. Wonderful scene! So glad to hear the bridge isn't made out of linen! Happy PFF

  4. This is a great card, Carol. Almost folk-art if you ask me.

  5. Love this with the puffy little trees all over the place. Love to be able to see what the image looked like before it was doctored.

Something wonderful to think about a bridge made of linen. Wrap it up and put it away each night. And once a month it must be taken down, washed, and ironed.
